6 pepper chicken wings

These chicken wings are about to rock your world. Never again will you want to eat wings out again. My mom and I got the big pack of chicken wings from Sam’s Club – you’ll have to cut the chicken wings, but its super easy. Here‘s a quick tutorial if you don’t know how. We cooked these chicken wings on our Big Green Egg and they have a ton of flavor!!

  • Chicken Wings
  • Tones 6 pepper seasoning (found here)
  • Franks Red Hot Buffalo Sauce (optional)
  • 2 Tbsp. of Ghee (optional)

Cut chicken wings and sprinkle with Tones 6 pepper seasoning. Don’t be afraid to get generous, the more the better. Let sit about 30 minutes while you get the Big Green egg or grill ready. We place a cast iron skillet filled with water and wood chips under the grill rack to give them a nice smoky flavor. Cook indirectly on the plate at 275 degrees for about 40-45 minutes.After 30 minutes, take the plate setter out and cook directly until crispy.. about 15-20 minutes.

After taken off the grill, you can eat them with the dry rub or with hot sauce. I like to melt 2 tbsp. ghee and 1/2 cup of hot sauce and toss the wings.
